Sahil Solankee

Sahil is an associate focusing on transactional and production legal matters in the theater industry. His practice involves guiding producers through the development and financing stages of new productions including negotiating various deals with authors, composers, and other creatives; drafting financing agreements; and corporate governance/compliance.

Prior to joining Klaris, Sahil was a corporate associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton and Garrison LLP, where he worked on matters relating to mergers and acquisitions, corporate financing and executive compensation, including large private and public company transactions in the hospitality and entertainment sectors.

During law school, Sahil participated in the Community Development & Entrepreneurship Clinic and served as a Racial Equity Research Fellow, counseling nonprofit and small business clients focused on serving communities of color on transactional matters. He was also an editor of Volume 100 of the Texas Law Review.
